Claremont Bed vs. Crown Bed

Your bedroom should be a sanctuary, and we believe that starts with your bed! We offer several styles of beds, but our most popular and customizable styles belong to the Crown Bed Collection and the Claremont Collection. Both offer similar headboard shapes and a platform bed frame, but there are some key differences between the two collections to note before making your purchase. Read on to determine which collection best fits your needs!

The Crown Bed

Need a custom look in a flash? The Crown Bed is our signature Bed-in-a-box! It features a 100% foam slipcovered headboard and a fully upholstered platform bed frame – no box spring needed. The foam headboard does not attach to the bed frame, but is supported between the flat wall, bed frame and mattress.

Handcrafted in just 10 business days, the Crown Bed ships via UPS. Unwrap your dream bedroom in no time!

Highly customizable, the Crown Bed is available in 7 unique shapes, over 80 fabrics, and 5 wooden leg finishes.

Choose from King, Queen, and Twin XL sizes! Customize your bed with a contrast welt and wood leg finish.

Grab a friend, and assemble the bed in no time!

Since the Crown Headboard is 100% foam, it will arrive tightly compressed into a cylinder inside a Coley Home Box. The foam headboard will arrive in a protective white fabric cover, with your slipcover folded up inside a dust bag. No need to remove the white covering – your made-to-order slipcover will slide right over it.

We encourage customers to open the package immediately to give time for the foam to expand back to its original shape. The longer the foam headboard is compressed and rolled, the longer it will take to take shape – this should take a few hours.

Once the foam has fully expanded, you can apply the slipcover! Make sure that the seams match up with the edges of the foam, for best results. Don’t worry, the slipcover should be tight, keep tugging!

Once you’ve pulled the slipcover over the foam, lay the foam flat and line up the bottom corners. You will see a zipper lining at the bottom of the cover. Keep in mind, we designed this to be very tight so that the end result will resemble an upholstered headboard!

The Crown Bed Frame is a fully upholstered platform frame, so no need for a box spring!

Another advantage of the Crown Bed is its versatility!

Want to refresh your space? You can easily switch out the Crown Headboard slipcover!
