Coley Home Chemical Statement:

When selecting our materials and fabrics safety and sustainability are always top of mind. We know choosing furniture for your home is a big decision and we want to make sure it is filled with clean materials.

Our fabrics are made without flame retardants or antifungal additives. All of our fabrics meet or exceed all national or state-level product safety standards, including CA TB 117-2013. They are free of PFA’s and most of them are either Greenguard or OEKO-TEX certified.

A small portion of our fabrics do have a PFA free stain repellent called C0. C0 stain Repellent finish is made from non-toxic, biodegradable, or plant-based ingredients and is much safer than the previous stain repellents that have been used. For your reference Here is a list of those fabrics:

CertiPUR-US certified foams are:

  • Made without formaldehyde
  • Made without ozone depleters
  • Made without phthalates regulated by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
  • Made without mercury, lead and other heavy metals
  • Low VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than -0.5 parts per million)
  • Screened for relevant chemicals, including flame retardants, that are classified as carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxins and are harmful to human health
